Written by and starring Don McKellar My rating: 4/5 It's a most familiar scene: Slumped on the couch, remote in hand, bouncing the signal off the far wall, alternately bored and entranced, lazy and engaged. We've all done it. But what's different about Twitch City, the new six-part CBC series created, written by and starring Don McKellar, is that we're not used to seeing it on television. McKellar stars as Curtis, a resident of Kensington Market in downtown Toronto, an ordinary man who has raised channel surfing to the level of high art. For Curtis, television is life. When Curtis's roommate Hope asks "what's up?" Curtis replies: "I slept with my mother" it's today's topic on The Rex Reilly Show, Curtis's favourite, around which he schedules his life.
